The Printworks

The Printworks, 35-39 Queen Street, Belfast

A late Victorian warehouse built in 1895 for R Carswell & Son’s printworks, bookbinders and stationers. The 5 storey red brick warehouse occupies a prominent site on the corner of Queen Street and College Court, an area undergoing considerable regeneration close to Belfast City Hall.

The warehouse was constructed with wrought iron columns and beams, allowing for generous floor to ceiling height and large windows which flood the interior with natural light.

Angus Properties plan to redevelop the building to provide retail on ground floor and offices on the upper floors totaling approximately 50,000 sq ft.
